Welcome!

We’re here to answer any questions you may have or help with issues. See the below sections for help with the Marketplace features, setting up a shop, and adding products.

  1. If you haven’t already, apply to be a Vendor and await the approval process.
  2. Once your application is approved, you can login to your Vendor Dashboard.

GETTING STARTED

Go to the Vendor Dashboard, and click SETTINGS:

Under the Store tab, enter all your shop information. Please fill out all information completely and save.

Next, click the Payment tab.

Enter your PayPal address and click Save. NOTE: PayPal is our only accepted form of payment at this time.

Next, click the Branding tab.

Add your Store Banner image and Store Icon (the icon will be automatically cropped to a square thumbnail). Click Save.

Next, click the Shipping tab. NOTE: The shipping section must be filled out correctly, or your transaction shipping fees will not calculate properly.

  1. National Shipping
    This is based on the address you entered in your Store information. Here, you can set a flat fee for all national shipping. You can also offer free shipping.
  2. International Shipping
    This is for all shipping that is not within your own country, based on the address you entered in your Store information. Here, you can set a flat fee for all international shipping. You can also offer free shipping or disable international shipping entirely.
  3. Minimum/Maximum Shipping Fees
    This optional setting will override calculated shipping costs.
  4. Free Shipping Order
    If you would like to offer free shipping for order over a certain amount, you can enter your minimum amount here.
  5. Product Handling Fee
    If you charge for packing products, you can add that amount here.
  6. Shipping Policy
    Enter your store shipping policy here; for example, you could say “We ship every Wednesday”.
  7. Return Policy
    You should state your return policy explicitly here.
  8. Shipping From
    By default, this is your store address entered in your Store Information. If you need to specify another address, click the dropdown and select “Other”.

SOCIAL MEDIA (OPTIONAL)

To add your social media links, click the Social tab:

To add a product, click Products, then the Add Product button:

PRODUCT NAME: Give your product a descriptive name; include keywords for best search results.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This is the long description where you can enter complete details about the product.

PRODUCT SHORT DESCRIPTION: This description should be brief; this will show in the search results.

CATEGORIES: Choose a category from the dropdown.

TAGS: These are optional, and you can enter anything you like. Tags will help with search results.

FEATURED IMAGE: The main product image. This will show in search results.

GALLERY: Add additional images (a maximum of 5 photos is allowed).

PRODUCT TYPE: Choose one from the dropdown (see the section on product types for detailed instructions on how to add each type).

  1. Simple Product: If you only have one size or one item, choose Simple Product. This can include multiples of the same item. EXAMPLE: A single red bakelite bangle, 15 red bakelite bangles (all the same)
  2. Variable Product: If your product is available in multiple sizes or colors, choose Variable.

PRIVATE LISTING: Check this if the listing should not show in search results; this can be useful for items that are on hold for a specific person, or created specifically for one customer.

REGULAR PRICE: Your item price.

SALE PRICE: Optional; will show the original price and the sale price on the product page.

After you’ve entered your basic product information, click the Inventory Tab:

INVENTORY TAB: You must click “Manage Stock” and then enter an inventory quantity, even if you only have one item, otherwise, the product will say “SOLD OUT.”

Next, click the Shipping tab:

By default, all products will use the universal shipping information you entered in your store settings. If you want to override these settings for an individual product, you can enter them here; otherwise, leave blank to use the universal settings. IMPORTANT: You MUST enter the product weight, or shipping will not be calculated for the customer in the cart, and the customer will NOT be charged for shipping!

LINKED PRODUCTS TAB: UPSELLS & CROSS-SELLS: This is useful for creating buzz about your other products or related products. You must have existing products in order to use this feature. Once you’ve added more than one product, you can go back in and edit your Upsells and Cross-Sells.

ATTRIBUTES TAB: This is only used for Variable Products, not Simple Products. See the Variable Products tab below.

From your Vendor Dashboard, click Products:

You will then see a grid of all your products. Mouseover (or tap on mobile) the product you’d like to edit, and you’ll see a new menu with options to Edit, Duplicate, Delete, or View:

To Edit, simply click “Edit” and make/save your changes. You can also Duplicate a product, which is helpful when you are adding products with similar features.

To Delete a product, simply click “Delete.” NOTE: Deleted products cannot be recovered, so be cautious!

Simple Products are products that are:

  1. Unique/one-of-a-kind
  2. Multiples with no variations (i.e. you have 12 bangle bracelets that are all the same pattern  and/or color)

If you have more than one configuration of an item, i.e. a bangle bracelet that comes in 5 different colors, or a top that comes in different sizes, you should select Variable Product.

Variable Products are products that have different options available, such as size or color. You can enter the available options in Attributes and Variations.

From the Product Type dropdown, select “Variable Product”:

Enter the basic product information on the General tab, then fill out Inventory, Shipping, and Linked Products (optional).

On the Attributes tab, select the appropriate option on the dropdown, check “Used for Variations”, and click the Add button. We’re using “Size” in this example.

Click/tap the “Values” box, and you will see a dropdown of available options. You can click one at a time; repeat for as many options as you need:

If your option is not available in the dropdown, click the “Add New” button:

Enter your specific term in the box and click “OK”. You can repeat this for all of your specific options:

Next, click the “Variations” tab and fill out the information under each section:

Click “Save Draft” to continue working on the product later. Click “Save” and the product will be now be live.

To add a coupon, click Coupons, then Add Coupon.

You will see three new tabs after clicking “Add Coupon”. Be sure to fill out all three tabs before saving the coupon.

GENERAL SETTINGS TAB

Coupon Name: Give the coupon a unique name, which you can share with individual users or advertise in your store description.

Discount Type: This can be a fixed amount or a percentage.

Coupon Amount: This should be the amount off or a percentage.

Allow Free Shipping: Check this if the coupon applies free shipping.

Coupon Expiry Date: Enter a date or leave blank for no expiration.

USAGE RESTRICTIONS TAB

Minimum/Maximum Spend: Enter a Minimum and/or Maximum spend, or leave blank if not applicable.

Individual Use Only: If you have multiple active coupons and want only one to apply at a time, check this box.

Exclude Sale Items: Check this if you don’t want to coupon to apply to sale items.

Products: You can enter product titles here to assign the coupon to specific products only.

Exclude Products: You can enter product titles here to exclude them from the coupon.

USAGE LIMITS TAB

Here, you can set limits per coupon, limit to X number of items, or per user.
